Violets?
Called "sea fig" or "sea potato", because of its shape and its dark purplish color, violet, including rock violet (the most sought after), is a rather strange crustacean, very popular in the south of France. Often presented on a seafood platter, it reveals, opened in half, an orangey and firm flesh with a powerfully iodized smell.
weight: between 50g and 80g per purple
Conservation :
⚠️ Warning ⚠️ Once opened, the violets must be eaten directly.
Stock advice: If you do not consume them immediately, you will need to store them in a cool room such as a cellar. The temperature should be between 5 and 15 ° C. If you don't have a pantry, you can also store the hamper in the bottom of your refrigerator or in the crisper.
