  • Label and production method:

    Since 2006, CHAPUIS has also been a founding member and manufacturer of the Label Rouge for their Morteau sausages. This Label guarantees superior quality and highlights artisanal know-how of more than 40 years.

    To obtain the Label Rouge, it is necessary to meet several criteria. The sausage must be made exclusively from Label Rouge pork.

    It must be uniquely natural, without the addition of other spices than salt and pepper.

    Finally, its smoking must be carried out only in a pipe, for a minimum of 48 hours.

    The “Label Rouge Morteau Sausages” label and a metal seal are used to identify labeled sausages.
